The challenge
Having secured degree-awarding powers, and recognising the risks posed by degree fraud, Queen Mary University started working with Advanced Secure Technologies in 2011 to:

Queen Mary University of London partnered with Advanced Secure Technologies to deliver secure certificates incorporating detailed foiling and embossing of the university crest alongside a range of overt and covert security features that would protect their certificates from fraud.
The solution was later expanded to include secure transcript paper and joint award certificates, helping create a consistent approach to document security across multiple credential types, allowing them to achieve:
