The challenge:Â
The University of Guelph first worked with Advanced Secure in 2015. The university became the first Canadian university to adopt our Secure Certification product and Digital Certificates® solution.
The university needed a secure solution for their graduate legacy data, the information was held by a limited number of people within the university, which placed the university at potential risk, our solution alleviated this risk and transformed the experience for their students and graduates.
Advanced secure solutions adopted:Â
University of Guelph’s experience
Increasing security and efficiency, reducing processing time by two weeks each semester.
“Since beginning to work with Advanced Secure in 2015, the University has greatly benefited from their secure solution for printing certificates and transcripts. The Advanced Secure staff was extremely helpful as we worked through a phased implementation, and they provided support for various issues specific to our institution and to the Canadian market.
Through Advanced Secure’s on-premises printing solution, we can now print, sort, and package certificates on our own schedule. This system has significantly increased our efficiency, reducing our processing time by two weeks each semester.
In addition to their printing solution, Advanced Secure assisted with the import of 200,000 historical certificate and transcript records which allowed us to replace a legacy records system.
We will continue to work with Advanced Secure to explore how their system could further benefit our workflows and solve future challenges.”
